Theremin, guitars, bouzouki, maracas, trumpet, accordion, violin, keyboard, flute, tambourine, bass, drums, tuba, xylophone, and bongos.
These are the instruments of DeVotchKa’s musical revelry which allow them to bring the folk sounds of Eastern Europe, Mexico, Greece, and the beats of gypsy, mariachi, and polka tunes to a base of punk and rock and roll.

I appreciate each of these band’s ability to bring together old and new sounds, musical and visual performance, as well as offer exotic rhythms, raucous beats, and yearning-filled ballads alike.
And, who doesn’t love the accordion?
