Shaking things up at Maoomba

Hi everyone,

If you have been following the Maoomba.com website for a while, you have probably noticed a few changes.  We are shaking things up around here.  For those of you who are new to our site, this is a good thing.  We believe the changes will better help all of our visitors navigate the world of food allergies.   Keep reading to learn what’s up.

  1. Name: Staying true to our roots, we are using the Maoomba name – no more La Maoomba (if that’s how you know us).  Want to learn the story behind Maoomba?  Read it here.
  2. Appearance: We have redesigned the site to make it more easy on the eyes, more welcoming, and easier to quickly find the information you are looking for.
  3. Focus: We are zeroing in on content that will help guide you through the world of food allergies and sensitivities – for gluten and dairy, in particular.   With that in mind, our blog will cover topics such as simple and delicious allergy-friendly recipes and strategies for eating food that keeps you healthy without disrupting your already-full life.  To learn more about our focus, visit our About page.
  4. Communication: Starting next week, we will begin offering free weekly Gluten-free and Dairy-Free (GF/DF) recipes and tips right to your inbox.  If you want to make sure that you get them, please sign up here.  (When you do, you’ll receive a thank you gift called ”

Educational Resources: We will soon be adding online classes and other resources to our site to offer you in-depth, easy-to-follow, and down-right-fun ways to incorporate allergy-friendly food into your already-full life.  If there are specific topics that would make your life easier (or would have when you first learned of your or a family member’s allergies), please suggest them here – we’d love to help if we can.
